I went to a theater with my friend after school on Wednesday. Today’s fee is cheaper than the other days, because it was ladies day!! I watched “No Reservations” It was good. Next time I want to watch it on DVD. I think this movie described American life. When I watched this movie, I thought that I live in America in the future.

I went to Takamori with my father and my mother.It was a good day. I ate Soba and some chicken.The soba shop was introduce in a magazine. The soba was soso, but the chicken was very good. Next, I went to "Cafe Purin". It was near Aso farm land. It was so good. I ate a parfait. I loved it. I want to go again. I recommend this.

Book review 2-01 [ISLAND FOR SALE]

This story is about Lana. Lana is small island. He decided to sell his castle, because he didn't have enough money. American rock star wanted to buy his castle and his island for his girlfriend, so they came to his island. But there are not light, food, hot water!! His girlfriend don't like island....... she is a spoilt woman!!

They don't want to live there, rock star didn't buy these. He couldn't sell his castle and island, so he couldn't get a lot of money. However, he could get happiness.

Famous sightseeing place

Kumamoto Castle

　　Kumamoto Castle is one of Japan’s famous castles. I t was built by Kiyomasa Kato in 1607. It is excellent building. It is situated center of the Kumamoto city. Everyday, many people come to there. The view from castle is very beautiful. It is worth to visiting there least once.

Mt. Aso

Mt. Aso has a caldera of the world maximum grade, so many people visit in Aso every year. When it is fine day, people can see beautiful view, also many children and other people enjoy riding, talking, running, and so on in Kusasenri. Kusasenri is like a rest place. Kusasenri is in the middle of going to Mt. Aso.

Amakusa

Amakusa is encircled by the beautiful sea, so people go to there to swim or fishing. It takes time till we go to Amakusa from the Kumamoto city but fresh slices of raw fish (sashimi) is so delicious and freshness. Moreover a TV talent comes to Amakusa to location for TV program sometimes. They often do the dolphin watching. It is nice sightseeing.

Ikinari Dango

Ikinari Dango is a famous food in Kumamoto. Every Kumaoto’s people know It. Except Kumamoto’s people, Ikinari Dango is unknown food. There are Anko and sweet potato in it. It is sweet and very delicious. There are not many people that dislike Ikinari Dango. If you have not eaten it, you should eat it.

Horsemeat

Horsemeat is a famous food in Kumamoto. This is raw meat. Many people eat it, when they visit to Kumamoto. But this isn’t cheap. Its taste is mild and delicious. It goes well with bear.

Lotus root of mustard

Speaking of one in the local cooking of Kumamoto is a lotus root of mustard (karasirennkonn). There is it from Edo era. Because the section that cut a lotus into round slices resembled the family crest of Hosokawas, people who except premises couldn't eat it. There is old history in it.

Uchimura Teruyoshi

He is one of the famous people from Kumamoto. His name is Teruyoshi Uchimura. He is from Hitoyoshi in Kumamoto. He is TV personality. He is active in various scenes. For example, variety program, drama and so on. He is the member of “Ucchan Nanchan”. Not only Kumamoto’s people but also Japanese know him.

Ayumi Kataoka

She is 21 years old. She is a famous girl in Japan, because she is baseball player in “Kin-chan baseball team”. When she was a high school student, she belonged to baseball club. She is a girl, so she couldn’t play the baseball game. Now, she often plays baseball game as amateur.

Suzannu

Do you know that Suzannu's hometown is Kumamoto? Her name is like a foreigner but she is real Japanese!! She often appears TV program, "Quiz Hekisagon". Her brain is not so good, so maybe there are people who anxious her.

Famous shopping place

PARCO

PARCO is the bit big shopping center in Kumamoto. It is one of famous shopping center in Kumamoto. It is popular among young people. There are many clothes shop in there. Recently it was renewal, so there are many many shops. Almost everyday, there are many people in there. In sale season, there are many people every shop.

DIAMOND CITY CLAIR

“DIAMOND CITY CLAIR” is a famous shopping mall in Kumamoto. This mall’s advantage is easy to look various shops. There are many popular shops and beautiful theater. People can watch many new movies, and women can always take the movie cheaper on Monday.

TSURUYA

There is "Tsuruya" in the center of the city. It is establishment of a business 50 years and over, and a long- established department store to represent in Kumamoto. However the price of an article for sale is expensive.

Famous fair

Fuzisakigu autumn festival

It is one of famous festival in Kumamoto. There are many participants in the festival. The participant walks in Kumamoto city from fuzisakigu with horses. Everyone say “do-kai, do-kai”. This festival is the memory that Kiyomasa Kato came back from Korea. It is very noisy festival. Almost Kumamoto’s people are looking forward to this festival every year.

Hinokuni festival

This festival is held for 3 days in the middle of August every year. But this year held the festival for 2 days. First day, some famous music artists come to concert in Kumamoto and people can watch many beautiful fireworks. This firework is famous in Kumamoto. Next day, the Bon dancing is held in the center of the city. Its name is “Otemoyan- all dancing!!” A lot of people take part in Otemoyan- all dancing.

Yamaga garden lantern festival

"Yamaga tourou festival" is held for two days, August 15 to 16. It is called the one of the Japan's three biggest summer festivals and fireworks go up or a live concert, dancing. This festival is taken up in news every year. It is bustle with hundreds of thousands of spectators every year.

School festival

I don’t belong to club, so I will have enough time!! Maybe I will go to somewhere with my friends then. This year, “Flow” will come to KGU. I don’t know about Flow. Flow is singer, but I think they are not famous singer. Last year, Ayaka came to KGU. She is singer too, but she is very famous in Japan. But I didn’t go to her concert, because then I don’t like her so much. I think she is good singer, she can sing song well!! Club member in KGU will walk from Kamitori to Shimotori on Saturday.

My niece

I talked with my friends. It was interesting and exciting, because my friends are very funny. But I forgot my class, so I didn't go to class. When I went to back home, my niece came to my home. I said "I'm sleepy, because I was tired." Then my niece said to me "Sleep on my lap!" I said to her "No thank you." She said "Everyone ignored me........ I have the mumps." She is interesting.

Summer vacation

I went to America in summer vacation. It was so exciting, because I could meet various people. My host mother is Mexican, and my host father is Scandinavian. Scandinavian has blond hair and blue eye, so my host father has blue eye. But his hair is white!! They have two children. Their son is 7 years old, their daughter is 4 years old. They are so cute. PARCO

I went to shopping at PARCO. I went there by bicycle with my friends. When we went down a slope, the signal changed red, so we stopped. Then a man neglected the signal, so we went too. But some police officer watched us. “You must stop when the signal is red!!!” The police officer said with a microphone. I was so embarrassed.

Baseball

I went to Fukuoka with my family. I watched a baseball game. My father and mother like the Softbank Hawks, so we go to watch a baseball game in Fukuoka at least once a month every year. However, I couldn't watch a winning game this year. If the Hawks win a game, we can watch some fireworks. Though I couldn't watch some fireworks, I couldn't get a Hawks player's sign ball!!

Takamori

I went to Takamori with my mother and my father two month ago. It was a good day. I ate Soba and some chicken. The soba shop was introduced in a magazine.
